PDQ documented the source which was the window where the water had entered. After ensuring the window was properly repaired and reinforced, PDQ began to clean. All standing water was sucked dry, flood cuts were performed, debris was HEPA vacuumed, and fans/dehumidifiers were left. The property was brought back to its original condition.

PDQ Restoration first made sure the pipe was correctly fixed and no further water damage would occur. Some flooring in the living room and bathroom needed to be removed. After, fans and dehumidifiers were placed in both the bathroom and living room to bring the moisture levels back down to normal.

PDQ came in and documented all areas of damage. After the pipe was fixed, PDQ began to extract all standing water on the floor and removed part of the damaged floor and ceiling. Fans and dehumidifiers were set up and used until the moisture levels went back down to normal. Antimicrobial was sprayed to prevent the possibility of any mold growing.

PDQ diagnosed the problem and had a plumber repair the leaky pipe to ensure no more water leaked out. Then PDQ brought in equipment to suck up all of the standing water. Fans and dehumidifiers were then brought in to dry up the remaining water. All equipment was removed once the area was all dry. Any remaining debris was HEPA vacuumed up and then all surfaces were disinfected.

Removed Cork Flooring under toilet in basement bathroom which was flooded by sewage spill. PDQ removed the Pergo flooring in the finished part of the basement. and made two-foot flood cuts in walls affected by sewage spill and mold all throughout the basement. A four-day dry-out period was needed. antimicrobial and air scrubbers were put into use.

We found a burst in the radiator in one of the rooms near the basement. A bathroom next to the bathroom was investigated where we found water damage and leaks. Flooring and drywall were repaired. Air scrubbers and de-humidifiers were used throughout the house and affected areas. Removed all water-damaged drywall.

PDQ performed clean up the sewage backup in the basement This was an Emergency Service Call for a Cat 3 Toxic water situation Standing sewage water by the sink and by the back toilet was extracted. The area was thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. PDQ removed 100 square feet of carpet and removed some other small debris like ceiling tiles and boxes that had been affected. PDQ made two-foot-high flood cuts in the damaged Sheetrock. Microbial spray was used when finished. Air Scrubbers and fans were utilized to dry our the basement.

It was determined that the water supply line to the dishwasher had broken. A dehumidifier was placed in the kitchen along with one fan. Recommendations were made to have the flooring and sheetrock tested for asbestos. The cabinet for the dishwasher was soaking wet and was taken out. In the basement six fans, one air scrubber one dehumidifier were put in place. Moisture levels were monitored in the kitchen and basement.

Extracted all standing water from the basement floor. Cleaned and Sanitized the floor of the bathroom and surrounding floor areas impacted by sewage leak. Flood cuts in the soaked drywall in the living room and near the bathroom were made to determine damage. Additional flood cuts were made down the stairwell to the basement Full Sewage clean-up and restoration process was initiated for the Cat 3 (sewage) and Class 4 (vinyl sheet flooring) loss.

PDQ removed all standing water. This was a difficult task, as water kept recollecting in the area of the sump pump pit. We removed a rug that was damaged. We sprayed the area with micro-ban over a 25sq ft area. PDQ then set up drying equipment.

PDQ responded immediately to the request to come and remedy the situation. The sewage water removal was initiated and clean-up and disinfectant procedures were put into motion. Hot water and Microban were used to clean the floor. Clothing near the washer and dryer was moved out of the way. A Dehumidifier was used in the area.

PDQ determined that this was a Cat 3 loss event for sewage and a Class 4 event for the damage to the vinyl sheet and flooring. PDQ started the demo process in the bathroom and began the dry-out process throughout the house. We removed a section of sheet rock in the stairwell and in the living room and removed a 3-inch piece of sheet rock along the wall. Dehumidifiers and Air Flow machines were placed throughout the house.

PDQ fully contained the source room of the fire. Installation of air scrubbers and hydroxyl equipment was put in to begin the cleaning process. PDQ prepared the source area for inspection by the insurance adjuster. The remaining rooms in the home were cleaned with HEPA vacuums. The team cleaned all exposed and unexposed surfaces with dry “chem” sponges and “wet” cleaning tools in order to remove soot accumulation in the Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room and Mud Room.
