Rockaway, NJ is a town located in central Morris County and was formed in 1894. The origin of the town's name comes from a Native American word that means "place of sands" or "creek between two hills". Many parks are scattered throughout Rockaway, such as Donatoni Park and Jackson Avenue River Park, offering recreational space for citizens and various walking paths and sidewalks. We had a flood in our basement earlier in November. After the fire department came and gave us their assistance our daughter found PDQ, a remediation company on line and we called that night. They came and stayed till 3 am ridding our floors of the water. They set up fans and dehumidifiers and helped us dry out our things. Management called each day to check on progress and the service team continued to work with us to dry out our home. We appreciate PDQ s professionalism and caring support during this very upsetting time as the loss of our personal items were minimized with their efforts.
