When the PDQ team arrived at Annie’s Hackettstown home, they promptly assessed the situation and got to work. Water extraction equipment was used to remove the standing water from the kitchen floor, and dehumidifiers were set up to dry the cabinets and surrounding areas thoroughly. The team also inspected for hidden moisture that could lead to mold growth and ensured everything was properly dried before beginning the restoration process. The entire job took about four days, with Annie’s insurance covering the majority of the costs, leaving her only responsible for her deductible. Thanks to PDQ’s swift response, her kitchen was restored to its original condition, ensuring no lasting damage from the dishwasher flood.

When we arrived to the Homeowner's home in Hackettstown, NJ, we walked around and performed sponge tests throughout the home. There were remnants of soot everywhere; the baby's room upstairs, the living room, kitchen and bathroom. We explained to the Homeowner our plan of action. They had to leave their home since soot is dangerous, especially babies. We began by placing air scrubbers and hydroxyls on each floor. The HVAC system was cleaned, the entire house was cleaned. We worked and billed their insurance company directly. The Homeowner was pleased they only had to pay their deductible.

When we arrived to the Client's home in Hackettstown, NJ, we assessed the damages with the homeowners. We discussed our remediation plan. They were thrilled to learn we could work with their Adjuster, as well as their insurance company, CHUBB directly. Our IICRC-certified technicians started immediately by setting up high-velocity air movers, commercial dehumidifiers, HEPA air scrubbers and hydroxyls to begin the drying process of their home. We packed up their unaffected content and moved it to a dry area of their home. With the Client's permission, we recorded and documented the disposal of non-salvageable items. We removed, bagged and disposed of affected materials. We visited their home daily to take moisture readings and ensure the house was continuing to dry. It took 7 days for the house to completely dry.
