PDQ diagnosed the source and documented it. Then they performed demolition to open up the ceiling to access the leaky pipe and had that fixed. All areas that were badly affected and covered in mold were carefully removed and disposed of. Other wet areas were dried with the use of fans and dehumidifiers. A drying chamber was set up in the bathroom and the surrounding areas to most efficiently dry everything out.

A professional cleaning team was brought in and went from top to bottom and cleaned every square inch of the home. No soot was left behind. We removed a section of sheet rock in the stairwell and in the living room and removed a 3-inch piece of sheet rock along the wall. Dehumidifiers and Air Flow machines were placed throughout the house.

A portion of the ceiling drywall was removed along with the wet insulation. The wall that is shared with the front foyer had insulation and drywall that was wet and it was also removed. Numerous stained ceiling tiles were removed and thrown away. Additional ceiling tiles were removed from the front foyer. Laminate flooring was removed along with padding and tarpaper. Fans were installed once all the demolition was completed.
