Why did the customer contact us?
The home suffered water damage to the kitchen and family room due to water overflow from the bathtub on the second floor. Bubbling in the kitchen ceiling below the bathroom was discovered. The homeowner indicated that three rooms had been impacted by the bathroom flooding.
Solutions provided:
PDQ contained the damaged areas in the kitchen and family room and completed water damage mitigation.
The PDQ team searched for additional mold evidence on the ceiling in the living room/kitchen. Moisture was detected in the subfloor which required fans to be installed from the ceiling.
The water-damaged carpet was pulled up during demolition and removed.
