Why did the customer contact us?

The customer had a sewer backup and went into their finished basement. The homeowner’s main concern was how quickly we could begin the cleaning process to avoid further damage.

Solutions provided:

Our Project Managers arrived within 45 minutes of the call. They assessed the damages along with the Homeowner and discussed the plan of action.

Our IICRC-certified technicians started immediately by cleaning up the sewage and setting up high-velocity air movers, commercial dehumidifiers, HEPA air scrubbers and hydroxyls to begin drying and cleaning the home. They removed all unaffected items to a clean/dry area of the basement. They sealed off the affected area, bagged and removed all affected materials. The team replaced all air filters in the HVAC systems and scheduled HVAC air duct cleaning and sanitation for sewage and odor.

The Homeowners were extremely grateful for the urgency and service that PDQ Restoration was able to provide.
