Why did the customer contact us?

Client experienced a house fire originating from the laundry room of their home. There was significant build-up of dryer lint, which ended up catching fire from the heat of the dryer during cycle and cause damage to the laundry room and finished basement areas with significant smoke and odor thought the home. Client called PDQ Restoration after emergency responders stopped the fire to ensure there was no leftover soot particles in the air and to remove the bad smoke odor from the home.

Solutions provided:

PDQ responded to the call within one hour. The PDQ team tested the air for soot particles and began cleaning the ducts of the home and other impacted areas of the dangerous soot particles. PDQ was able to remove any unwanted smells and dangers from the smoke damage.
