Why did the customer contact us?

The homeowner completed a Google search looking for water damage and sewage clean-up companies near Landing, NJ. They experienced a sewer backup, which went into their finished basement. The homeowner's main concern was how quickly we could begin the cleaning process because of the odor and harmful bacteria.

Solutions provided:

Our Project Managers arrived within 90 minutes of receiving the call. They assessed the damages along with the Homeowners and discussed the plan of action.

Our team immediately removed any unaffected items and relocated them to a clean/dry area of the basement. They then sealed off the affected area and bagged/removed all affected materials.

Our IICRC-certified technicians started cleaning up the sewage and setting up high-velocity air movers, commercial dehumidifiers, HEPA air scrubbers and hydroxyls to begin drying and cleaning the home.

The PDQ team then replaced all air filters in the HVAC systems and scheduled HVAC air duct cleaning and sanitation for sewage and odor.

The Homeowners were extremely grateful for the urgency and service that PDQ Restoration was able to provide and that we were able to deal with their insurance provider, All State, directly.
