Job completed for Gotliffe Casey

Completion date: April 8, 2022

Location: Randolph, NJ

Why did the customer contact us?

The Client had a portable space heater that caught fire in their bedroom on the first floor. There was extensive damage in the bedroom, as well as smoke and soot that had traveled upstairs.

This client found us through a Google search, read our reviews and contacted PDQ Restoration for a quick and thorough clean-up.

Solutions provided:

We arrived to the Client's home within 60 minutes of their call. We assessed the damage along with the Clients and discussed our remediation plan. They were relieved to learn we could bill and work directly with their insurance company, Liberty Insurance.

Our Team started immediately by setting up high-velocity air movers, commercial dehumidifiers, HEPA air scrubbers and Ozone generators to begin cleaning the home.

We then sealed off the bedroom and cleaned, packed up and moved all their unaffected content to a POD on their property. We then removed, bagged and disposed of all affected material.

We then cleaned the HVAC air duct for soot and odor and replaced all air filters in their HVAC systems.
