Job completed for Beth C.

Completion date: August 4, 2023

Location: West Caldwell, NJ

Why did the customer contact us?

The customer called with an overflowing toilet which was causing sewage water to collect in the house. They suspected a backed-up sewer line. Areas of the house affected were parts of the bathroom, bedroom, hallways, laundry room, stairwell, and basement.

Solutions provided:

PDQ determined that this was a Cat 3 loss event for sewage and a Class 4 event for the damage to the vinyl sheet and flooring.

PDQ started the demo process in the bathroom and began the dry-out process throughout the house.

We removed a section of sheet rock in the stairwell and in the living room and removed a 3-inch piece of sheet rock along the wall.

Dehumidifiers and Air Flow machines were placed throughout the house.
