Story of Abdullah

Abdullah, a first-grader at Mohakhali Abdul Hamid Dorzy Govt. Primary School, is the only child of Sumon Mia and Simla Akter Irin. Like many families in Mohakhali Sattala Slum, Dhaka, theirs is one of constant struggle. Sumon, a day laborer, faces the uncertainty of irregular income, while Simla's frequent illness adds another layer of hardship.

Despite these challenges, Abdullah's parents are determined to give him the gift of education. They dream of seeing him break free from the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future for himself. However, the financial burden of school supplies, healthcare, and basic necessities is often overwhelming.
