Why did the customer contact us?
When the customer was ready to turn their heater on for the first time this fall, their furnace released soot and debris all over their basement floor.
Solutions provided:
We assessed the damage and let the homeowner know what the plan of action was to prevent any harmful soot from continuing to take up their air space. We started by sealing off any unaffected areas and then set up the Hydroxyl Generator to remove the odor and set up air scrubbers to help purify the space. The customer was pleased that we could work directly with their insurance company, State Farm.
