Completion date: August 2, 2026
Location: Morris Plains, NJ
Solutions provided:
John M. experienced fire damage in the kitchen area of his Morris Plains, NJ home, with visible soot, smoke staining, and damage to portions of the ceiling and walls. PDQ inspected the affected area and identified damaged building materials and surfaces requiring cleanup and restoration. Loose debris was removed, and the area was prepared for safe restoration work. Care was taken around the affected cabinetry, appliances, and remaining structural materials.
PDQ cleaned soot and smoke residue from salvageable surfaces using appropriate fire restoration methods and removed damaged materials where necessary. The affected area was HEPA-filtered and cleaned to help control airborne particles and lingering smoke residue. Follow-up inspection and cleaning were performed to address remaining contamination. The Morris Plains property was left organized and ready for reconstruction and continued restoration.
