To address the wet and damaged walls, the team performed flood cuts, removing the lower sections of the drywall to prevent further moisture spread and facilitate effective drying. High-capacity fans and dehumidifiers were strategically placed throughout the living room to lower humidity and accelerate the drying process. This thorough intervention was crucial to restoring Lidia's living room to a safe and dry condition, preventing additional damage, and preparing the area for repairs.
