Mia from Summit, NJ called PDQ Restoration when she came home and found that her basement had flooded. She was not sure where the water came from but the entire basement had 2-3 inches of water and was very humid. There was clear water damage on the walls and all contents in the basement as well. She was worried about mold in the walls as well.

Solutions provided:

When PDQ Restoration arrived at the house in Summit, NJ the first step was to extract the water from the basement. This is to prevent any further water damage. Afterwards the basement was stabilized by placing fans, dehumidifers, and HEPA air scrubbers to begin the drying process. Afterwards the PDQ contents division came to clean and package for storage all affected contents. Finally PDQ came daily to check for moisture until all affected areas were confirmed to be dry.
