Customer woke up to significant amount of water in the basement hallway and closet from a water pipe leak. The water damage affected walls in the basement going up a few feet and ruined a significant amount of contents stored in the basement.
Solutions provided:
We contained the damage and removed remaining standing water. Sheetrock was removed halfway up the walls to avoid mold and mildew. Soaking wet carpet was removed and HEPA air scrubbers set up in affected areas. Drying equipment stayed on site until it was determined that dry standards were met and moisture content was below the threshold for mold growth.
